Franklin D. Roosevelt once said,
"When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on."
While I like this quote and the visual... I think the author of this Psalm says it better!
Psalm 94: 18-19, 22 (ESV)
When I thought, "My foot slips,"
Your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up.
When the cares of my heart are many,
Your consolations cheer my soul.
But the Lord has become my stronghold,
and my God the rock of my refuge.
From slipping feet to the overwhelming heart concerns...
our Lord is our Rock!
(which is stronger than any knot I could tie!)
