I'm so glad you've stopped by my blog! I am a Women's Minister and a former Pastor's Wife. I love finding God in my regular-everyday-stuff. I struggle with keeping up with the laundry, I love blogging, and my kids are my first line of ministry. I am recently widowed. So God and I are on a brand new journey as I try to find peace and understanding. Please grab a cup of coffee and let's get to know one another as we journey on our faith walk together.

Ain't LIFE great?!

Yesterday was my husband's 40th Birthday!  We had a great day celebrating him all day long.  It began with a super big family breakfast - pancakes, eggs, bacon and awesome coffee.  The kids (6 & 3 years old) helped of course.  Jordan even made a smiley face with Craisins on John's pancakes - it was super cute!  Then we all had lunch together at Chick-fil-A while waiting for the rain to stop.  After a few errands we had a delightful tour through the French Market down in the Quarter.  Jordan found a great pair of Fleur-de-lis cuff links for John - of which I was able to negotiate from $48 to $20 total.  Sweet!

Then for the evening celebration we were able to get a baby sitter and enjoy a nice grown-up dinner in the French Quarter.  It was a great day to celebrate life!

This week in my Bible Study of the Names of God we learned that God is our Elohim - our Creator.  He gives us life for 2 main purposes - to bring Him glory and to do His will.  Our life, all that we do should reflect His character!

How do you do this in your regular-every-day-life-stuff?  How do you bring God glory in doing the laundry and raising your kids?  How do you follow His will for your life while running to the grocery store?

I would love to hear your answers!  Also - join me in a blog hop today as we fellowship with other ladies!

What a GREAT way to celebrate your husband's birthday... Happy Birthday to him!

And what a wonderful reminder: "He gives us life for 2 main purposes - to bring Him glory and to do His will."

To answer your question: I pray what a friend calls "breath prayers" (quick little prayers) often, that God would be glorified in what I do... little and big things.

It's nice meeting you through iFellowship! ♥ Michelle
