If ever you don't know what to pray... open your Bible. There are so many prayers of old found here that are still very prevalent in 2010. I've listed one below that I prayed this morning... and believe me it's a GOOD ONE!
Psalm 25: 4-5 (ESV)
Make me to know Your ways, O Lord;
teach me Your paths.
Lead me in your truth and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
for You I wait all the day long.
The Bible is filled with many incredible prayers.
Today begin to see it, read it, as a Prayer Book!
I know your prayer time will be enriched if you do!
If you're already doing this, what are some of your favorite Bible Prayers?

I love praying the scripture! Recently I have been praying through Psalm 139...
Great post! :o)
One of my favorites...Proverbs 3:5-6
There are so many, but Psalm 18 and Psalm 51 are 2 of my favorites, and Psalm 91. Well, there I go, but you are exactly right. Praying Scripture is the best way to start a time of prayer because it will cause you to focus on Him first and foremost.
Psalm 51:1-2
"Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly form my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin."
Psalm 121 is one of my favorite to pray. Love spending time in the mountains.
I love praying Scripture, because when I pray Scripture, I know I'm praying God's will! I use a prayer calendar (one topic w/ corresponding Scriptures for each day of the month) to pray over my kids and husband.
BTW... What a cute layout/blog!
Thank you for reminding me of this great truth! I enjoy praying prayers that Paul records in his epistles.
