I'm so glad you've stopped by my blog! I am a Women's Minister and a former Pastor's Wife. I love finding God in my regular-everyday-stuff. I struggle with keeping up with the laundry, I love blogging, and my kids are my first line of ministry. I am recently widowed. So God and I are on a brand new journey as I try to find peace and understanding. Please grab a cup of coffee and let's get to know one another as we journey on our faith walk together.

His Words Sunday

I'm really enjoying making my Sunday blog solely about His words - and not mine.  Today I want to give you His Words about His church.  His church is made up of His people and He wants desperately for them to gather together and to meet with them (us) collectively!

Psalm 26:8 (ESV)
O Lord, I love the habitation of your house and the place where Your glory dwells.

Today, I pray that you find yourself taking in the holy habitation of the Lord in corporate worship!  I believe that He knows we will find His strength for our daily life, when we come together with fellow brothers and sisters in the faith.

I know you will experience His glory there with them!

What a good word. I do not know if I could make the work week --week after week after week if I did not gather with my brothers and sisters in Christ for worship and fellowship. It is my favorite part not just of the week, but of my life!! Thank you for encouraging all of those out there that may not feel this way about "church" attendance. I do not view it as "attendance". I view it as survival strategy for staying the course and running the race with a goal of winning the crown. Preach on daughter girl....

Amen, this is it, exactly! It's my spiritual 'jump start' for the week.
